Hardware Design Services

As a completion of the standard product portofolio DENX Computer Systems offers comprehensive design services for demanding projects in the embedded market.

DENX provides all needed buiding blocks for an entire product.Customers can receive the entire service offering to implement a mass production qualified product starting from the first product idea or order partial service(s) to assist the own in-house development department and therefore shorten time to market.

With a strong focus on ARM, MIPS and Power Architecture technology  DENX always offers the right solution for your task: From your very first idea of a new product through to the final hardware implementation with its application software we implement modular systems, single board computers and custom designs. Please find more information in the Hardware Design Broschure

Range of Services

Our Hardware Design Services cover the following milestones:

Specification

Specifying all requirements in which a new product has to fit in is one of the most challenging tasks in hardware design. We support our customers through all necessary milestones including a formal requirement specification which describes all needed product features, requirements during the development phase and actions needed to get the final product.

It may not be sufficient to take a project to success considering only the hardware: all building blocks and features have to be determined to achieve a good equation between engineering cost for hard- and software development on the one hand and the bill of materials, production-, test- and maintenance-cost of the final product and its quantity over the product life time on the other hand.

DENX Computer Systems helps turning your ideas into success stories.

DENX Computer Systems offers a full range of PCB layout services. Based on our high standards for acceptance and delivery we established a rapid design cycle.

We propose the optimal component placement for your PCB no matter whether you send your design as schematic or netlist or you need us to layout the design on your own EDA system. Designs with vast complexity or extremley high density in combination with special high-speed or analogue requirements are our daily business.

Our layout services include

  • design for impedance controlled PCB
  • simulation of critical signals
  • design for production and test
  • multilayer
  • microvia technology
  • Starrflex

Validation is a quality control process of establishing evidence (i.e. measuring and testing against the requirements) that a product, service, or system accomplishes its intended requirements. Validating a prototype during development means maturing it to a production ready device which complies to all specified requirements.

In addition to the common validation of electrical parameters and functionality the validation process at DENX Computer Systems can optionally include:

  • electromagnetic compliance
  • thermal load
  • mechanical vibration and shock
  • safetey
  • regulatory standards

DENX Computer Systems provides production services including

  • short-term prototype production
  • all in one service including components purchasing
  • mass production for batch sizes of 1 to 10.000 pieces
  • active/passive burn-in/run-in tests
  • coating
  • ICT
  • Flying Probe Test
  • Boundary Scan Test
  • test equipment development
