MicroTCA systems require a comprehensive management funtcionality which is independent from the used operating system and the operating status of the available AMC. The MicroTCA Carrier Hub (MCH) represents the central management unit which is connected to all AMCs, the cooling units and power supply units using the IPMI-bus.
